Dear scholars, We hope this email finds you well.   The 2008-09 Canada China Scholars' Exchange Program and 2009 Special Award for Canadian Studies are now open. Please see the following information in Chinese on the two scholarship programs.  To better promote the two programs, we would be grateful if you pass the information to the members of the Canadian Studies Centre and faculty members at your home institution.    2009 年度“加拿大研究专项奖”: 加拿大驻华使馆目前正在为2009 年度“加拿大研究专项奖”寻找合适的候选人。 创立于1989年的“加拿大研究专项奖” 为中国学者提供一个在加拿大进行为期5周的访问机会。在加拿大期间，中国学者将参观、访问加拿大高等院校和科研机构，会见加拿大学者，收集相关资料，进行各自的项目研究。回国后，获得奖学金的学者将要通过教授有关加拿大内容的课程，或发表，出版关于加拿大的学术论文和专著 , 或进行加拿大问题的课题研究 , 以继续深化加拿大研究。   2009 年度“加拿大研究专项奖” 的项目介绍和申请表格请见附件。 2008-09年度“中加学者交换项目” 从今年开始，该项目的申请程序进行了调整 -- 中国留学基金管理委员会负责接收申请。请浏览中国留学基金管理委员会的网站http://www.csc.edu.cn/Chuguo/f1e84bf2301e433382c9d7981ff2de42.shtml 获取详细信息。
