A Prof. Cormack, from Mount Royal College in Alberta, is searching for the grave of a prominent Canadian anthropologist (Richardson Black) who participated in the discovery of the remains of the Peking Man, helped set up the Beijing Medical College and died in Beijing in 1934. The British Embassy has provided some assistance as he was reportedly buried in the British Cemetery or at the British Legation. I thought of putting Dr. Cormack in contact with Canadian Studies Centre scholars who are familiar with the Canadian presence in China in the 19th and 20th century. Several lived and worked in China as professors, teachers, missionaries, etc, and many of them played leading roles in the establishment of teaching and reserach institutions, hospitals, etc.  Please forward the attached documents and brief background to those you believe might be the right interlocutors who might be able to help Professor Cormack in her research.  Patrice
