Canadian studies in early April in Hong Kong. Please find below and
attached further information and the
registration form for the graduate seminar to be held on April 3, 2007 in Hong
Kong. We strongly encourage you to have
your students who are engaged/interested in Canadian Studies to
actively participate in this seminar.

POSTGRADUATE
RESEARCH SEMINAR - CANADA IN THE ASIA-PACIFIC - HONG KONG - 3 APRIL
2007
The
Canada-Australasian-Pacific Studies (CAPS) network invites graduate students
with an interest in Canadian Studies to attend the inaugural "Postgraduate
Research on Canada in the Asia-Pacific" seminar in Hong Kong on April 3rd,
2007.
The seminar aims
to:
- Highlight current
postgraduate research on Canada in the Asia-Pacific region
- Encourage
collaboration amongst graduate students in the Asia-Pacific
region
- Facilitate
publication of Canadian Studies research by graduate students in the
Asia-Pacific region
It is expected
that the participants in the forum will include graduate students from
Australia, China, India, Israel, Japan, Korea, New Zealand and Taiwan.
It is expected that
the outcome of this forum will be an edited volume of graduate research
papers.
Date and
Time: Tuesday 3rd April 2007 - 9am-5pm
Venue: The Charterhouse, 209-219
Wanchai Rd, Wanchai (Unicorn and Phoenix Function Rooms - Basement
2)
Cost: FREE seminar for eligible
graduate students
Registrations: Registrations are
