第21期 6 /5/ 2006  中国加拿大研究会会员信息站 The Association for Canadian Studies in China ListServe  　=>1. （加研会执委会会议在北京召开）  　ACSC Executive Committee meeting was held in Beijing from May 19 to 20th. At the meeting delegates discussed on the preparative work for the biennial conference. It was decided that the theme of the conference be changed to "The Strategical Cooperation between Canada and China in the 21st Century." The opening date of the conference is put off to Nov. 9-12th. The meeting passed new criteria for conference travel fare funding. Please see the attachment. 　执委会会议5月19－20日在北京召开，会上讨论了第12届年会的准备情况，经研究决定，本届年会的主题改为“21世纪的中加战略合作”，年会会议日期推迟到11月9日－12日，并通过了新的路费资助办法，参加附件的经费请表，请学者们相互转告。  

2. New Amendments of the ACSC Charter Passed（执委会通过了新的研究会章程修订草案） 　　 The executive committee meeting passed new amendments to the ACSC Charter, which involve some important issues. The amendemnts will be announced at the conference. 　执委会通过了新的研究会章程修订草案,修改涉及到很多重要环节问题，修正后的全文将在今年年会上宣布。  　

3. Sad News： Obitruary（王彤福副会长不幸去世） 　 ACSC Vice-President, Prof. Wang Tong Fu passed away and his untimely death in the fire accident shocked us. He made great contribution to teaching, research, publication and the cause of China's Canadian studies. We wish all ACSC members will carry on what Prof. Wang has left unfinished. 　我加研会秘书处沉痛宣告，原上海外国语大学教授, 上海外语教育出版社总编缉，中国加拿大研究会副会长王彤福教授不幸去世. 　王彤福副会长，1943年7月4日生. 1965年7月毕业于上海外语学院英语系英语语言文字专业, 并留校任教. 历任低年级教研室主任, 高年级教研室主任, 研究生教研室主任. 1988年获加拿大研究奖. 1992年被评为教授. 1993年至2001年任上海外语教育出版社总编缉. 2001年至2005年任上海外语教育出版社顾问. 终生享受国务院特殊专家津贴.2006年1月19日, 在山西太原中北大学讲学, 因学校招待所火灾而不幸遇难. 王彤福教授为外语教学，研究、出版，以及加拿大研究事业贡献了毕生精力，在加拿大研究会的组织工作做出了很大贡献。他的辞世使我们失去了一个良师益友，我们希望大家把王副会长的未竟事业进行下去。(王彤福教授夫人供稿)  　

4. Results for Excellent Graduate Theses Selection (首届加拿大研究优秀研究生毕业论文评选结果) 　After strict evaluation by expert panel, 2 doctoral dissertations and 10 Master theses have been selected as the excellent theses. See the list of winners in the attachment.　经过专家匿名评审和研究会执委会的综合考察，有2篇博士论文和10篇硕士论文被评为首届加拿大研究优秀研究生毕业论文，具体见附件。  　
5. SACS Visiting Scholars' Departure （06年SACS学者启程访加） 　The 2006 SACS visiting scholars departed from Beijing to Canada. We hope other scholars may be interested in their proposed topics of their projects. 6. CASS Symposium （社科院民族所加研中心举办研讨会） 　 The Anthropology and Ethnic studies Institute of CASS will hold a seminar on social inclusion and economic development. Those who are interested may take a look at their notice for the symposium and Call for Papers. see attachments.　社科院民族所加拿大研究中心将举办新一届研讨会会，具体内容参见他们的征文和会议通知。  　

7. “China's Canadian Studies Manual” Published (《中国加拿大研究手册》出版) 　 “China's Canadian Studies Manual”edited by Prof. Fu Cheng Shuang from Nankai University has come out. The secteriat has sent a number of copies to all centers. In additon, we have made hundreds of VCDs of the same content. All members and centers will be entitled to some copies at the biennial conference. 　受研究会委托，由付成双副秘书长担任执行主编的《中国加拿大研究手册》出版，秘书处已经向大部分中心邮寄了样书，我们还制作了数百张光盘，凡是没有收到的中心和个人都可以到年会上去领取。  中国加拿大研究会会员信息站由加研会秘书处策划制作Email: wang.bing@126.com
