I have been enrolling postgraduates specializing in Canadian Studies in Sichuan University since 1999. And over the years I have been offering them a course on Canadian Fiction and have acted as supervisor for six of them，all writing their degree theses on Canadian literature.
个人简历 1978 ---1981年：四川大学外文系，研究生。81年毕业，获硕士学位 (Studied as postgraduate at the Dept. of Foreign Languages and Literatures, Sichuan University, graduating in 1981 with an M. A. degree)；
1981--- 至今：在四川大学外文系（今更名为外语学院）任教. (1981 --- now: have been on the faculty of the Dept. of Foreign Languages and Literatures [now renamed “College of Foreign Languages and Cultures”] , of Sichuan University.）
1981年留校（系）任教至今，担任助教（1981-83）、讲师（1983-90）、副教授（1990-95）、教授（1995至今）；1992年起担任四川大学加拿大研究中心主任。(Have stayed on since graduation as a faculty member --- assistant [1981-83], lecturer [1983-90], associate professor [1990-95], professor [1995---now]; and since 1992, have been on the post of director of the Canadian Studies Centre of Sichuan University).
1988 --- 89年: 赴加拿大多伦多大学英语系进修，跟随W. J. Keith教授学习加拿大文学。(Studied Canadian literature with Professor W. J. Keith at the English Dept. of the University of Toronto from 1988 through 1989).
1996 --- 97年： 高级访问学者， 访问美国Yale大学。(Visited Yale University, in the U. S., as a visiting fellow, 1996 through 1997).
2001年夏: 以SACS项目赴加拿大访问5周，访问Toronto, Trent, York, UBC, 等大学。(Paid a brief five-week academic visit to Canada [on SAKS] to Universities of Toronto, Trent, York and UBC in summer, 2001).
