=>1.The Canadian Studies Center at Inner Mongolia University Overfulfiled the Task Quota under the “Program Development Grant”.

 The Canadian Studies Center at Inner Mongolia Univer-sity was approved for a grant (Grant Agree-ment # PREA6804) by Canada’s Depart-ment of Foreign Affairs and Internation-al Trade, to implement a research project of publishing 10 acade-mic papers on Cana-dian Studies issues under the “Program Development Grant”. This project was chaired by Director Prof. WEI Li. To fulfill the task, the IMU Canadian Studies Center initially formed an academic research team. With the great endeavor made by the team members Liu Jinyu, Liang Junqing, Gao Yiwen, Liu Tianwei, Bai Shuang, and the Canadian academic advisors Dr. John Z. Ming Chen and Prof. James Steele, 14 papers have been published in both international and domestic journals, including 2 in international and 5 in CSSCI journals. We overfulfilled the task quota and were greatly inspired by our output. This project and its achievement have profoundly benefited our Canadian Studies, widened our vision of conducting Canadian Studies, upgraded our research ability, and furthered the development of our center.
