=>1. 中国加拿大研究会会长冯建文教授代表学会出席国际加拿大研究理事会2010年年会（The President of the ACSC Participated in the 2010 Annual Meeting of the ICCS）

国际加拿大研究理事会2010年年会于5月27日至28日在蒙特利尔召开，理事会会员和观察员以及理事会秘书处约40余人出席了会议，会后所有参会人员一起出席了在康科迪亚大学举办的“老龄化社会及挑战”的国际学术研讨会。中国加拿大研究会会长冯建文教授代表学会出席了理事会年会并参加了之后的研讨会。
理事会审议并通过了理事长的工作报告以及相关的决议文件。留任理事长Remie教授正式离任，美国南加州大学政治学教授Patrick James教授当选为新一届候任理事长，将按惯例于次年开始两年的任期理事长及一年的留任理事长。
 理事会通报了2009年各国加拿大研究的进展情况，总结了取得的成就和各国开展加拿大研究的特色。中国加拿大研究会2009年在加拿大研究出版、研究、项目、活动等方面取得了显著成绩，受到理事会的肯定和各国加拿大研究会的称赞。其中有一些活动以其首创性和突出特色受到大家关注，如200年11月在南京举办的纪念白求恩在华殉职70周年的加拿大文化周。
加拿大国际事务部的代表Jean Labrie先生到会论述了对加拿大研究的资助等问题，对国际加 拿大研究提出了进一步的明确要求。由加拿大国际事务部立项资助的加拿大研究项目一直广受各国加拿大研究学者的关注，2009年我国通过各地

一直负责国际加拿大研究理事会电子通讯的Guy Leclair教授离任履新，大家对他的杰出贡献致以衷心的感谢。
会议期间亚太加拿大研究会（PANCS）举行了会议，议定2011年年会将在韩国首尔召开，2012年年会将由中国加拿大研究会举办，届时将和中国加拿大研究会第15次年会同时进行。

The International Council for Canadian Studies(the ICCS) held its 2010 annual meeting in Montreal from May 27 to 28, 2010. All the Council members, as well as the observers, participated in the meeting and they also participated in the International Symposium on the Ageing Society and Challenges held in Concordia University. Professor Feng Jianwen, President of the ACSC, participated the meeting and the symposium on behalf of the ACSC.
Professor Ertler, President of the ICCS, made the working report of the ICCS which was adopted, together with some other documents, by all the council members. Professor Remie, Past President of the ICCS, retired from his post and Professor Patrick James from Southern California Univeristy was elected the new president-elect of the ICCS. According the ICCS regulations, he would be President of ICCS next year and Past President after two years of his presidency.
Canandian Studies in 2009 in each country were reported at the meeting, with their respective outstanding characteristics. The ACSC was praized by both the ICCS and its members for great achiements it has made in 2009 in such aspects of Canadian Studies as publication, research, projects and activities, among which the Canada Week on Dr. Bethune held in Nanjing in November 2009 has brought a significant impact on Canadian Studies in China.
Mr. Jean Labrie, representative of the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade, Canada(DFAIT), attended the meeting and related some important issues on Canadian Studies, including financial assistance for Canadian Studies by the DFAIT, and further requirements for Canadian Studies projects and activities were made in his speech. In 2009, the number of the Canadian Studies projects and activities in China supported by the DFAIT was once again among the top in the world.
Professor Guy Leclair left his post in the ICCS and would have new charges, and all the meeting participants showed their great thanks to him, on behalf of all the Canaidanists all over the world, for his tremendous contributions to Canadian Studies in those many years.
The Pacific-Asian Network for Canadian Studies(PANCS) held a meeting and made the decision that its 2011 annual meeting be held in Seoul, Korea，and the 2012 annual meeting be held by the ACSC in China, together with the ACSC’s 15th National Conference.

 2010年6月7日晚西南政法大学刘艺副教授为行政法学院硕士研究生做了一场关于加拿大行政法的讲座。为了增强大家对加拿大的了解，刘艺博士首先对中加两国进行了对比性介绍。接着以公法为例，向大家介绍了加拿大法律制度特点。加拿大的行政法既不同美国行政法也不同于德国行政法，而具有一种非典型的混合性特征。加拿大行政法学的特点则表现在实务取向、部门取向、规制取向等三个方面。作为2009年SACS项目资助学者，刘艺博士访问过加拿大从东部到西部的六所大学法学院，她用图文并茂的方式向同学们介绍了加拿大几所著名法学院的公法教育及加拿大行政法学界的杰出代表及其研究成就。该校美国行政法专家杨明成副教授、德国行政法专家徐以祥教授、罗军老师、陆伟明主任、邓毅博士受邀为讲座点评专家。 Prof. Liu Yi giving a lecture 讲解结束后，各位专家对刘艺博士的讲座进行了点评。各位专家建议同学做比较法研究时视野应更广阔，像南非、加拿大、印度这样的国家也非常值得我们学习。讲座结束后，同学争相提问。刘艺一一回答了大家的问题，并与嘉宾、同学们合影留念。 --------中国加研会秘书处报道
 On June 24, 2010, Associate Prof. Liu Yi gave a lecture on adminis-trative law of Canada to graduate students in Multifunctional Hall of Shapingba Unit of Southwest University of Political and Science. The lecture consisted of five parts, namely, Differences and Si-mimilarities between Canada and China: Characteristics of Canadian Legal Sys-tem from the View of Public Law, Features of Canadian Admini-
Teacher Lou Jun , Prof. Xu Yiyang, Dr. Liu Yi, Prof. Yang strative Law and Merits
Mingchen, Dr. Dengyi and Teacher Loujun and Dr. Lu Weiming of Canadian Adminis-trative Law Study. Doctor Liu was one of 2009 SACS Scholars visiting six law schools of Canadian universities and in the last part of her lecture she introduced by showing many pictures the general information of public law education in Canada and several well-known scholars and their achievements. Her informative and inspiring speech was well received by the audience. Prof. Yang mingchen, Prof. Xu yiyang, Doctor Lu Weiming, Doctor Dengyi and Teacher Loujun attended the lecture and gave some comments. As American administrative law expert, Prof. yang confirmed that Doctor Liu had attained the first achievement in the study of Canadian administrative law. From a German law researcher’s perspective, Prof. Xu encouraged students at SWUPL to think about Canada as one of their objects of studies besides Germany and U.S.A. After Dr. Liu finally answered questions raised by the enthusiastic students, guests attending the lecture took a photo with her.

=>3. 楚雄师范学院外语系高霞副教授开设加拿大研究专题讲座（Associate Professor Gao Xia Gave Courses on Canadian Studies at Foreign Languages Department, Chuxiong Normal University）

2010年6月9日（农历二〇一〇年四月二十七），中国加拿大研究会会员、楚雄师范学院外语系高霞副教授为外语系2007、2008级英语专业的同学做了题为《加拿大英语的形成和发展》讲座。高霞老师从加拿大特有的历史、政治、经济、文化传播、地理位置、自然环境、移民、多元文化政策和教育等方面分析了加拿大英语的形成和发展，比较了加拿大英语在语音、词汇、语法等方面和英国英语、美国英语的联系和区别。
 6月11日，高霞老师又为2008、2009级英语专业和对外汉语专业的同学做了《大学生科研课题申报与加拿大研究》的讲座，高霞老师向同学们介绍了大学生科研课题申报的意义、加拿大研究的方法及分别适合英语专业、对外汉语专业同学研究的方向。
楚雄师院外语系同学平时的研究和学习主要关注英、美国家的语言文化，加拿大方面的涉及甚少，开设加拿大研究专题的讲座尚属首次，所以两次专题讲座气氛活跃、互动积极、反响热烈，现场听讲的同学在加拿大语言文化方面开拓了视野、获益匪浅，讲座收到了良好的效果。

Prof. Gao Xia was giving a lecture
On June 9th, 2010, Associate Professor Gaoxia from Chuxiong Normal University, one of the members of ACSC, delivered a lecture on “The Formation, Variation of Canadian English” for English majors of sophomore. She analyzed the shaping and development of Canadian English from history, political, economic, culture, geographical position, environment, immigration, multicultural policies together with education in Canada and then compared and contrasted Canadian English with British English and American English in pronunciation, vocabulary and grammar.
Two days later, Prof. Gaoxia made another report on ”Scientific Research Projects for Undergraduate and Canadian Studies” for freshmen and sophomore of English major and Chinese major. She explained the significance of doing scientific research project, the methods of Canadian studies and some topics suited English majors and Chinese majors.
The students from Foreign Languages Dept, Chuxiong Normal University usually pay more attention to the language and the culture both in England and in America, but less to that in Canada. It is the first time to lecture on Canadian studies in Department of Foreign Languages, so two lectures interested students, and made them understand more about the development of language and culture in Canada.

今年8月，“2010年魁北克暑期研讨班”将在蒙特利尔和魁北克是举行。欲参加者详见附件中的信息和登记表格。
30年来，这项为期一周的活动为研究魁北克问题的学者提供了一个发展的机会。学者们汇集一堂，就相关的历史、政治、文化、社会和经济展开讨论。发言者来自魁北克省的各著名大学，就魁北克问题开展研究和开设课程的学者可参加这个研讨班。
报名截止日期是7月17日。国际旅费自理，另交599美元的会务费，用来支付5天的住宿和膳食、会议开支、文化活动和参观、蒙特利尔与魁北克市之间的旅费。

2010 Québec Summer Seminar (QSS). The QSS will be held in both Montreal and Québec City, from Monday, August 2 through Friday, August 6. Those who are interested please find attached program information and registration form.
For over 30 years, this week-long opportunity has attracted the participation of academics interested in a professional development experience to enhance understanding of the province of Québec. Each year, the QSS offers scholars an unparalleled opportunity for meetings with leading Québec experts for discussions on essential historical, political, cultural, social, and economic topics. Speakers from a variety of prestigious universities in Québec present on diverse research areas predominantly within the social studies with representation also from the humanities. Those interested in enhancing Québec Studies content in their course offerings and/or research are particularly encouraged to register in our program.
Rolling registration is available through Friday, July 16 at the cost of USD $599 which includes accommodations for five nights, all academic sessions, cultural activities, museum visits, transportation between Montreal and Québec City, daily full breakfasts with a few additional meals.
