　=>1.  北京外国语大学与加拿大多伦多大学及多伦多大学/维多利亚大学签订学生交流协议(Beijing Foreign Studies University Signing Agreement with the University of Toronto and Victoria University in the University of Toronto for Exchange of Students)

北京外国语大学近日与加拿大多伦多大学及多伦多大学/维多利亚大学签署校际学生交流协议。根据协议，北外和多大的本科生可作为正式生到对方学校进行一学期或一学年的学习，所获学分相互承认，交流生学费互免。

 中国教育部副部长兼职北京国语大学校长郝平与多伦多大学/维多利亚大学校长保罗·古治在协议上签字。北京外国语大学副校长钟美荪、外事处处长苑建华、英语学院副院长张剑、英语学院退休教授伊莎白·克鲁克及北     The presidents conduct a talk before signing ceremony 外/多大/维大学生交流项目负责人耿力平，以及保罗·古治校长夫人波林·汤姆逊教授和国际处马晓燕、暴华英老师出席了签字仪式。 此前，多伦多大学仅与中国大陆的清华大学、复旦大学和上海交通大学有校际学生交流协议。

     An agreement  for the exchange of students between the Beijing Foreign Studies University, the University of Toronto and Victoria University in the University of Toronto was recently signed in Beijing. The purpose of this agreement is to allow students from the above universities to study in the host institution for a term or year, earning credits that will be recognized by the home institution,  without having to pay 

      The presidents sign the agreement                   tuition at the host institution.

       HAO Ping, Vice-Minister of the Ministry of Education of China and Paul Gooch, President of Victoria University in the University of Toronto signed the agreement. Zhong Mei Sun, Vice-President of Beijing Foreign Studies University and other university officials attended the signing ceremony. Dr Li-Ping Geng (Coordinator of the BFSU/UT/VU Exchange Program) and Professor Pauline Thompson (President Gooch’s wife) also attended the signing ceremony.
